Middle School Science Fair Projects - Where Do I Start?
- 6 Jan 2001A lot of the content that is on FirstScience forms a fabulous resource and background material for students of all ages, and yet all too often they just don't know where to start with it. So, I thought I would write this little guide to ensure that you can make the best use of the material on the site and really start to get the maximum benefit from Firstscience (and other science sites like it).
Most of the material on the site is equally applicable to high school, middle school and elementary school students. The real value lies in figuring out how to use the vast science resources and articles that we have on FirstScience.com to help you to expand the scope and direction you would like to take with your science fair project. In using them to assist you in deciding what a good topic for your project might be, and then (hopefully!) help you in the process of putting out something that is interesting, well thought out and that you can be really proud of. (So you get applause, aplomb, ice cream treats (or cash!) off your folks for completing them successfully!)
The first step is to think about what types of topic you are particularly interested in and then to do a search in the upper left corner of the page (on any of the pages on FirstScience) and see what the resources that we have available are that can help you with your science project.
