Answers:
Technology came before science. The word itself, is greek and means a 'logical craft'. Production of a tool in response to a need is making use of a technology.
Stone tools, made by our early ancestors millions of years old are technological artifacts.
The idea of 'science', as we look at it today is only about 500 years old. And the word 'scientist' itself has only come into common use during the last 200 years. Previously, those who were engaged in examining and explaining the natural world were called 'natural philosophers'. - Editor
