C. P. Snow (1905 - 1980)
C. P. Snow (1905 - 1980) was a scientist and novelist. He is well known for his lectures and books on his thesis surrounding the breakdown of communication between the the sciences and the humanities. This idea was developed in his 1959 work 'The Two Cultures and the Scientific Revolution' where he notes the breakdown as being a major hindrance to solving the problems of the modern world.
