Arthur M. Schlesinger (1917 - ) is an American historian who served as Special Assistant to President J.F. Kennedy during his administration. In 1945, he won a Pulitzer Prize in history for his book 'The Age of Jackson'. He also wrote a detailed account of the Kennedy administration entitled 'A Thousand Days'.
