Marvin Minsky (1927 - ) is an American computer scientist who specialises in Artificial Intelligence (AI). Minsky studied mathematics at both Harvard and Princeton "Old Man Minsky", as he is often known, is the co-founder of the AI laboratory at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and specialises in artificial neural networks.
