Euclid (c.325 BC - 265 BC)
Euclid (c.325 BC - 265 BC) was a mathematician from Hellenistic Egypt and he is sometimes described as the 'father of geometry'. Euclid wrote about many aspects of mathematics but his book on geometry, titled 'Elements' became the world's most definitive text on geometry.
