The Joy of Indoor Rowing - Concept 2

In any case, for the moment my Beny V-Fit Artemis Rower is doing a fine old job of sitting in my third bedroom. I am even using it at the moment, which is a rare accolade for any piece of fitness equipment. Time will tell whether it turns out to be a substantial dust gatherer or a life enhancer. But in any case, for around £100 that is a chance I am willing to take.

Additional Notes:

Friday 20th June 2003 - Unfortunately, Concept 2s customer service has failed to live up to expectations. I emailed them on Friday 13th June, but am still awaiting a reply one week later. The email I sent to them was as follows:

Hi,

I have just written this article about Indoor Rowing for the benefit of my 3 million annual visitors.

http://www.firstscience.com/SITE/editor/013_ramblings_13062003.asp

I would appreciate it if you could please read it, and pass comment on the price discrepancy between the pm2+ machine in the US and the UK; and the fact that whereas suppliers can often offer lower prices for other rowing machines eg the water rowers. No such price leaway is available for concept 2 machines in the UK, despite the fact that they cost twice that of their US counterparts.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Stuart Brown

I have now emailed them again today and will let you know the reply. (If they can be bothered to reply that is)

Friday 20th June Update - Concept 2 have awoken from their slumber and sent me this speedy response.
