APA co-sponsors conference on work, stress and health

Experts from around the globe will present findings on the impact of work on employee stress, health and productivity and family relationships. Identifying and coping with stress among workers in a broad range of industries and across racial and ethnic backgrounds will be discussed. New approaches to help workers deal with increasing instances of workplace bullying and changing work environments will also be examined. Researchers will detail the risks of violence and other occupational hazards within the workplace.
Sponsoring organizations—the American Psychological Association, the National Institute of Occupational Health and Safety and the Society for Occupational Health and Psychology.
