She is currently a Clinical Microbiologist with the Diagnostic Services of Manitoba as well as a Professor in the Dept of Medical Microbiology at the University of Manitoba, and Principal Investigator, Infectious Diseases, Canadian Centre for Agri-food Research In Health and Medicine.
