Inventor of Ossur's Flex-foot nominated for European Inventor of the Year 2008

Mr. Philips is one of twelve nominees for this year’s European Inventor of the Year award, an annual program conducted by the European Patent Office (EPO), and the European Commission, that issues a prize in each of four categories: industry, small- and medium-sized enterprises/research institutes, non-European countries and lifetime achievement. EC Commissioner Günter Verheugen will be on hand when the awards will be presented by the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Danilo Türk, and EPO President Alison Brimelow, at a gala event in Ljubljana on 6 May, held in conjunction with the European Patent Forum 2008.
