Prof. Michael Oppenheimer said, "The volume and quality of manuscripts submitted since Climatic Change Letters issued the call for papers last spring substantiates the need that we anticipated. We hope the entire community will consider Letters as a vehicle for rapid dissemination of new ideas, new approaches and new findings."

###

Hardcopy versions of the journal Climatic Change will contain a Letters section every other month, composed of up to eight articles, running some four pages each.
